The NOSA R&D Department delivers both an internal and externally focussed service supported by a team of highly qualified specialists in the areas of market research, product innovation, graphic design, multimedia and e-learning, editorial and language editing, translation services, learning and instructional design as well as the legal and regulatory HSE environment.

Occupational health and safety management is a key challenges facing mining companies and is made even more challenging for those mining groups operating in developing markets. NOSA, through its extensive product range and proven track record of reducing injuries and fatalities, is best positioned to support mining groups in dealing with this challenge.

NOSA provides Fire Risk Management services to all business sectors. The main objective is to assist our clients in limiting fire hazards in the workplace, while at the same time ensuring that the client is prepared for any emergency situation that might arise.

NOSA Occupational Hygiene Services was awarded Approved Inspection Authority (AIA) status by the Department of Labour in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, No 85 of 1993 and is a SANAS approved OH AIA (OH0113 - SANAS 17020). The AIA status for NOSA Occupational Hygiene Services covers the following services, monitoring of Chemical Stress Factors, Physical Stress Factors, and Evaluation of Indoor Air Quality and Ventilation Systems.
