We are the UK’s leading solution provider, agnostic in our approach, selecting the optimum technology available, to design, build, install, and commission the precise system for your needs. The sample system is fundamental to ensuring the integrity and identity of the sample through to analysis. The whole package is tested before it leaves our technology centre and is integrated into the environment where it will be located, typically in kiosks to house our integrated systems.

We design and manufacture, calibrate, install, commission and validate metering solutions for the UK gas transmission and distribution networks, large industrial users, and major oil & gas companies.

Orbital Gas Systems pioneered the transition of UK gas networks, from national odorisation to regional. This enabled exporting unodorised natural gas to Europe, achieved by installing 126 odorisation plants at each gas network offtake throughout the UK. We provide systems that enable odorant injection for a range of gases including biomethane/renewable natural gas (RNG), liquified petroleum gas (LPG), hydrogen, and CO2. Odorisation is the process of adding THT or Mercaptan blends (such as TBM, DMS, or other types of odorants), to gas or liquid to ensure it is readily detectable to the human nose, which is critical for safe gas consumption.

Bringing together best of breed technologies to combat global warming. Fugitive emissions are unintentional or undesirable emissions. The Global Methane Pledge came out of COP26 in Glasgow to slash methane emissions by 30% by 2030, with 111 countries participating, including the UK and EU. Our strategy is to bring together the best of breed technology for combatting global warming, supporting UK operators to meet national objectives, and EU operators to meet the EU Methane Strategy to reduce their methane emissions this decade, part of the ‘Fit for 55’ legislation. nZero Group has led the way in fugitive emissions technology, since 2000, working with both new partner technologies, and VE sampling technology, which reduces the amount of gas to atmosphere, whilst improving system performance.

nZero Group provides CO2 gas quality and CO2 fiscal metering in gaseous and dense phase. The climate crisis has provided a need, like never before, to measure and control carbon dioxide in terms of quality and quantity in order to be able to capture and store it. Producers who have yet to invest in reducing their CO2 output need to be able to accurately determine what their excess is, in order to be able to purchase carbon credits to meet regulatory compliance. We partner with industrial and energy partners seeking to mitigate their CO2 production and those providers of carbon dioxide storage looking to secure their futures.
