CO2 Quantity & Quality Service
nZero Group provides CO2 gas quality and CO2 fiscal metering in gaseous and dense phase. The climate crisis has provided a need, like never before, to measure and control carbon dioxide in terms of quality and quantity in order to be able to capture and store it. Producers who have yet to invest in reducing their CO2 output need to be able to accurately determine what their excess is, in order to be able to purchase carbon credits to meet regulatory compliance. We partner with industrial and energy partners seeking to mitigate their CO2 production and those providers of carbon dioxide storage looking to secure their futures.

CO2 measurement expertise and understanding
The implementation of Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage (CCS) requires large quantities of CO2 to be transported from point of capture to point of storage. Entering into these networks creates challenges for operators capturing carbon, and pipeline owners for storage, as both parties need credible fiscal monitoring of the flow and quality of the gas before it is allowed to enter the pipeline.
Partnering with carbon capturers and pipeline operators
nZero Group designs and builds technology agnostic Pipeline Entry Units, like our existing grid entry units for biogas, which incorporate analysers and fiscal flowmeters for gas or dense phase flow to manage the gas which has been captured, all designed in accordance with the recommendations of DNV-RP-J202 Design and Operation of CO2 Pipelines Recommended Practice. They incorporate nZero Group’s remote monitoring hardware for predictive maintenance and trouble shooting and are fully automated. nZero Group also has 20 plus field service engineers with standard maintenance contracts for peace of mind for carbon capturers and pipeline operators.
