Oakwood Environmental Services was established in 2000, to provide focused solutions to a range of Source Emissions, Air Quality and Quality Assurance issues. The Principle Consultant Dr Roger Brown has been involved with Environmental Affairs for over 25 years.

An ex Chairman of the UK Source Testing Association (STA) and an accomplished Scientist & Director with considerable business acumen, he established and headed up a 25 strong Environmental Consultancy whilst working in the Industrial Monitoring sector. He has pioneered the use of technology to show compliance with environmental legislation for over 25 years. He has been responsible for environmental projects and theestablishment of environmental businesses in the UK.

In the Past 20 years Roger has been active in the role of a Consultant to a number of Multi-National companies worldwide and more recently has been providing advice on Certification of Air Monitoring Equipment to theEN 15267 and MCerts Performance Standards. Roger represented the STA  on the MCERTS consultative committees during the introduction of the MCerts Schemes for Air Monitoring.

Roger in addition has worked with companies to show Incinerator Destruction Performance of complex molecules using advanced FT-IR techniques; i.e investigate the efficiency of a Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser to destroy ethylene dichloride (EDC) and then follow the  subsequent scrubbing of water soluble acid gases, slip through and destruction by-products in an advanced gas clean up system of a Pharmaceutical  Incinerator.
