This asbestos awareness training course provides a basic understanding of asbestos, its` hazards, and the ability to identify asbestos-containing materials (ACM) in the workplace.

Class II work includes the removal of asbestos containing floor, ceiling, tiles, siding, roofing, or transite panels. Employees must be trained prior to or at initial assignment and at least annually thereafter. OTS is accredited through the Resilient Floor Covering Institute. 

This four-day asbestos training course provides a general overview of asbestos abatement procedures and worker protection for individuals working on asbestos class I & II projects. This course follows the EPA Asbestos Model Accreditation Plan and includes extensive hands-on exercises. Topics covered: Asbestos Identification, Health Effects, Personal Protective Equipment, Control Methods, Removal Techniques, Health and Safety Issues, and State and Federal Regulations.

This three-day lead certification course properly trains individuals the basics for control and removal of lead-based paint. This course follows the EPA Model Curriculum and includes extensive hands-on activities and demonstrations. Topics covered: identification, personal protection, setup, abatement procedures, exposure monitoring, and disposal. This course includes extensive hands-on activities and demonstrations.

This four-day lead certification course focuses on removal and encapsulation of lead-based paint and covers the training guidelines established by HUD for those who supervise or oversee projects where lead-based paint is disturbed.

Under the U.S. Department of Transportation, this course satisfies the training outlined in 49 CFR 172.000, required for individuals who handle, manage, transport, or ship hazardous materials.Topics include identification procedures, labeling & marking, the waste manifest and other shipping documentation and security awareness training. 

This course is designed for individuals who have completed the 40 hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker course and will be supervising hazardous waste site operations.

This five day training course, required under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120, is for individuals working at uncontrolled hazardous waste cleanup sites.  This course provides the required 40 hours of instruction and includes hands-on exercises and demonstrations to allow participants the opportunity to become familiar and comfortable with the equipment and procedures.

This three-day course meets the required training for hazardous materials technician/specialist under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for individuals working in manufacturing and industrial environments who will respond to accidents and leaks.Topics covered: hazard recognition, spill and leak control, personal protective equipment, and use of SCBA`s and extensive hands-on exercises.
