Balers - Fully Auto Balers: Channel Press
Okay - Fully Automated Balers
The fully automated UPAK series baling presses guarantee the affordable production of square-edged, durable and highly compacted bales. Developed specifically for modern logistics and stock management, the UPAK model series establishes an efficient and economical basis for all disposal concepts in large shipping and distribution centers.
Okay - Semi-Automatic Baler
The OKAY semi-automatic baler range is built here in the UK at our manufacturing facility in Northamptonshire. With our design offices also on site, we can adapt any machine to suit your exact requirements. Our semi automatic balers are used across the logistics, recycling and manufacturing sectors to process large volumes of waste materials such as cardboard, film, paper, shredded plastic, hard plastic, paper and shredded paper.
Okay - Vertical Baler
The OKAY Vertical Baler range is made in the UK at our manufacturing facility here in Northamptonshire. Vertical balers are ideal for premises with limited space as they usually only take up 2sqm floor space. Most vertical balers are semi-auto; meaning materials are hand fed into the compacting element and then automatically crushed and baled. With unbeatable UK safety features and fast cycle times, these machines work in all sectors to turn waste materials such as card, film, plastics and mixed fibres into dense mill size bales. They are especially useful in waste applications with small to medium material volumes to produce bales of cardboard up to 500kg. Harding working; giving you years and years of material handling, reducing labour hours and saving money.
Compactors
Okay - Portable Compactors
Traditionally used to divert waste direct to landfill, portable compactors now offer opportunities to reduce costs by a reduction in collection days, a reduction in labour hours and to recycle some materials which can open up new revenue streams. Our mobile compacting units, also known as self-compacting containers (SPB), are suitable for compaction of residual materials and recyclable raw materials. This includes, in addition to residual waste and commercial waste, bulky waste, green waste and contaminated material (eg hospital waste) as well as films and PPK. Depending on the material used, the filling weights * can be increased to more than 200% and transport costs halved by the use of our systems. Their precise production, the use of high-quality materials and a robust technology ensure the safe function and longevity in hard everyday use.
Okay - Stationary Compacting Plants
Our stationary compacting plants are suitable for compacting and transferring residual materials and recyclable raw materials. This includes, in addition to residual waste and commercial waste, bulky waste, green waste and contaminated material (eg hospital waste) as well as films and PPK. Through the use of our systems, the filling weights * can be increased to more than 200%, depending on the available material. Our standard product range includes stationary compression and transfer systems with a horizontal or worm spiral press system. In addition to various sizes and our comprehensive range of accessories and accessories, individual customer requirements can also be fulfilled, so that you can always get the perfect solution for your application.
Conveyor
Okay - Baler Feed Conveyors
OKAY Baler Feed Conveyors can be used with all models of balers. Our conveyor design has been developed over 70 years and is the template for many imitations in the industry. Only OKAY has a proven solution for every baler feed application. Our chain on slat design allows OKAY baler feed conveyors to have a horizontal feed section that can be made to any length to suit the application. All our baler feed conveyors can have their feed sections either in-floor or above ground with our design work ensuring a perfect finish for your site operations. With an inside bend to incline and elevate the materials up to the baler, we also offer the option of an outside bend, or “swan neck”, at the output end to chute the material cleanly into the baler.
Okay - Chain Conveyor Belt on Slat
OKAY Chain Conveyors are legendary. Our belt on slat chain conveyors are powerful, chain driven machines with a rubber belt carrying medium over the steel slats. This rubber belt finish is a popular choice when very small items need conveying as it prevents material ingress into the steel belt. Available in a full range of widths and lengths with inverters, auto-oilers, flights and a range of belt finishes, these machines are as versatile as they are robust. Used to feed balers, pulpers, MRFs and sorting systems, our chain conveyors are a faultless workhorse with massively high uptimes of 99% and safe and easy access for maintenance. If you buy one, you won’t need to buy another for one to two decades, which makes OKAY chain conveyors the best value overall given their very long life.
Others
Okay - Box Feeders
Okay Box Feeders Are Used To Receive Input Materials From A Grab Or Shovel Loader And Then Act As A Storage Hopper And Metering Device To Load The Input Material Into A Downstream Application In A Regular Flow. Built in modular sections, the robust feeder is made up of a heavy-duty conveyor within in a reinforced hopper and an adjustable metering drum. The hopper is loaded with input material until full by a shovel or grab and, with an inverter on both the conveyor and the metering drum, the Box Feeder delivers a controlled output feed to the downstream plant.
Okay - Eddy Current Separators (ECS)
OKAY Eddy Current Separators (ECS) are used to separate non-ferrous metals (aluminium, copper, brass, etc.) from bulk material of all kinds. Robust, reliable and available to match any throughput requirement, our ECS are working across the waste and recycling industry.
Okay - NIRS Optical Sorting
Optical sorting machines to scan, identify and extract materials automatically and at high-speed. Whether as part of a new sorting line or an upgrade, these machines are high-performance over every shift.
