The 2.4 meter marine buoy developed in 1999 as a leader in Korea’s maritime surveying department has acquired marine data from the East Sea, Yellow Sea, and South Sea for the past several years and has transmitted the main data observed through communication equipment such as CDMA(LTE), Inmarsat, Iridium, and etc.

In addition, experiences and technologies accumulated in the ocean have been applied to rivers and dams to develop automated flow measurement systems and to be used for flow monitoring of major rivers. These systems acquire flow data using either an ultrasonic flowmeter, ADCP or a time travel transducer, which is controlled and stored by the Aquapro(multipurpose controller) and transmitted via a land-based wireless network.
