Process & Environmental Engineering

We offer a total process engineering consultancy and design service to the process industries. Our process engineering experience is embedded in our key personnel who, individually, have over 20 years service with the company. In this time, we have adopted a policy of locking in our experience by developing application specific software modules which lead to the release of our ENVIROKIT software. In the last 10 years we have developed an extensive library of CHEMCAD steady state and dynamic simulations. We are the sole UK and Ireland representatives for CHEMCAD simulation products and offer training courses in this field.

E&I & Process Control

P & I Design has extensive expertise in all aspects of Instrumentation and Electrical Systems, from initial conceptual design to final commissioning. Process Control systems implemented have involved PLC, DCS and SCADA technologies applied to a wide range of processes and industries. A specialist area involves Safety Instrument System Design to IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 for plant and personnel protection. We also provide a consultancy service on hazardous area classification.

IT Service

P & I Design has been installing Information Technology systems for over fifteen years. We offer a full service from systems analysis to full installation and support of network systems. Based in Teesside and supported by an extensive dealership base, the Company is ideally situated to offer the complete Information Technology Service. We are experts in the migration, deployment and maintenance of Microsoft`s Small Business Server 2000, 2003 and 2008 products. Small Business Server 2008 provides the tools and flexibility to deliver many solutions to a wide range of Businesses, it provides a cost effective solution, and uses the familiar Windows User interface. This product can be used with a wide rage of Operating Systems running on the Client machines, such as Windows XP and Vista and can now support up to 75 Users.
