Water Treatment

PACT - High Purity Water System

Today’s increasingly sophisticated processing technologies demand the same level of sophistication in designing and building equipment for treatment of water. Requirements can be as simple as a water softener, filter or a chemical additive device or as complex as an ultrapure water (UPW) system serving the semiconductor, electronics and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. PACT ’s engineering staff will recommend, design and build the equipment required to produce the water purities demanded by said industries.

PACT - Pressure Vessels

PACT pressure vessels are pre-engineered or custom designed for manual or automatic operation. PACT `s in-house manufacturing facilities provide sand/grit blasting, priming, painting and rubber lining. The pressure vessels are manufactured by technicians specialized in all disciplines of steel and alloy steel handling, forming, metal surface preparation and welding. All apparatus are available at PACT `s manufacturing facilities for nondestructive testing, x-ray inspection, high voltage electric spark lining integrity testing, etc. Standard tanks are designed for working pressure of 7 kg/cm 2 and fabricated to ASME section VIII specifications.

PACT - Reverse Osmosis Systems

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a process that uses pressure applied through a membrane barrier to remove dissolved solids from a liquid. The RO process uses cross-flow filtration as compared to depth filtration. The former has three streams while the latter two. In RO the feed flows tangentially over a membrane surface and separates into permeate and concentrate. The concentrate is normally wasted except when energy recovery is viable in which case the high pressure of the concentrate is used to reduce overall power consumption before disposal.

PACT - Water Electrodeionization (EDI) System

The EDI process combines two well-established water purification technologies-electrodialysis (ED) and ion-exchange resin deionization. Through this process dissolved salts can be removed with low energy cost and without the need for chemical regeneration. The EDI process normally replaces conventional mixed-bed resin deionizers.

PACT - Water Desalination Systems

PACT principals are among the pioneers in the water desalination industry. Since the early 70s PACT principals have designed and built scores of water desalination plants both for industrial and municipal applications. Among the various desalination processes such as MSF, VC, MED . (thermal processes) and Reverse Osmosis, the latter is the desalination process where PACT has made its mark among the leaders in the field.

Wastewater Treatment

PACT - Wastewater Treatment Plant

PACT provides the best available solution to meet the wastewater treatment and reclaim/reuse requirements of most industries with particular emphasis on the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, automobile, chemical, steel, aluminum and food & beverage industries. PACT has designed and built several wastewater treatment plants in each of the aforementioned categories.PACT services include wastewater analysis; pilot studies to confirm most effective and cost efficient treatment; process and detailed design; assisting the client in the EPB (Environmental Protection Bureau) approval process; manufacturing of components; installation; commissioning and plant operation for an interval of time.

Offgas Treatment

PACT - Offgas Treatment Plant

The potential release of odors is a major concern of the public relative to modifying existing wastewater treatment facilities and constructing new facilities. Thus, the control of odors has become a major consideration in the design and operation of wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal facilities, especially with respect to the public acceptance of these facilities. In many instances, projects have been rejected because of subect to fines and other legal action over odor violation.

Package Plants

PACT - Package Compact Water Treatment Plant

PACT compact water treatment units are supplied to smaller communities and camps that have no access to a central water treatment facility. The units are normally installed along a surface water source (river or lake). The units are factory built in coated mild steel construction ready to install upon delivery to the site. The PACT water treatment units have been designed in the shape of standard ISO containers convenient for shipping and easy to install. Standard capacities range from 5-200 m 3 /h. Multiples of those units are normally used for larger installations.

PACT - Package Grey Water Treatment Plant

PACT grey water treatment system is removal of unwanted suspended material form the grey water, collected and disinfecting the same to make it useful for toilet flushing or irrigation or discharge to sewer lines according to the local laws applicable.

PACT - Package Offshore Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant

PACT provides Water & Wastewater Treatment solutions for Offshore application as following:
