Parker Systems is the original creator of OilSnare® (a.k.a. snare, snare boom or some call them pom poms).  PSI specifically developed this oil snare for heavy oil adsorption. OilSnare products are for the recovery of Bunker C, Crude Oil, and Numbers 4, 5, & 6 oil. OilSnare utilizes the oil’s natural stickiness to snare within thousands of plastic tentacles to pick up the oil. OilSnare is operative even in subfreezing conditions, and are packaged in three different types -singles, rope, and boom.  OilSnare is made up of flat polypropylene ribbon yarn in a patented loop design configuration.

PSI’s Secondary Containment Box is a maximum performance containment system. This one cubic yard box is completely incinerable or can be landfilled so there’s no contaminated drum to deal with. The heavy-duty Corrugated box will hold the equivalent of four 55-gallon drums, saving you money in transportation and disposal. Each box comes complete with a heavy-duty 8 mil poly liner (36″x36″x72″), a nail kit and an authorized 4-way pallet base. The three-foot cube, which holds up to 2,500 pounds and is authorized under UN specifications for use with Packing Groups I, II and III solids can be stacked three boxes high (2500 lbs. per box) for storage, but cannot be transported three boxes high.

As required by federal and state requirements, silt and debris must be contained.  PSI has proven that our turbidity curtains are the premium turbidity products to keep sediment under control for today’s demanding marine construction and industrial environment. We offer a wide variety of pervious and impervious curtains that meet and/or exceed US Department of Transportation (DOT) and other regulatory requirements for turbidity control from Type I through Type III.

Permanent boom belting is durable and UV resistant and our floats are heavy duty, rotationally molded polyethylene which provide years of in the water 24/7 service. Our permanent booms safeguard against oil spills or contain debris that can happen when not expected. Proven with years of service bulkhead risers, cable hangers, and service hardware allow the permanent boom to stay attached under and around piers, and vessels allowing self adjusting for tidal fluctuation.

Weir-type skimmers are light weight and compact, easily deployed and operated by one person. The weir automatically adjusts to the pump rate continually maintaining a skim. Weir skimmers can be set up for unattended operation or fitted with an operator control accessory package.
