PCI FC and MC Series drum pulleys are integral to various conveyor system positions such as head positions for driving belts or in tail, snub, bend, and take-up settings for belt tension and redirection. The FC Series features a crown formed in the pulley face, whereas the MC Series employs machining for the crown profile, typically requiring thicker materials for construction. These pulleys are available in diameters ranging from 2 to 12 inches and offer multiple hub styles including Plain Bore, Welded Through Shaft, Keyed Hubs with Setscrews, ER Style Internal Bearings, and more. Aluminum versions provide a lightweight and corrosion-resistant option, suitable when stainless steel is not required. PCI’s Contoured Integral End Disks are designed to enhance pulley life by reducing end disk fatigue, eliminating the need for hub-to-disk welds and optimizing surface stress for flexibility.
