It is about making places that respond to planning, architectural, environmental and engineering objectives in an integrated way.  Our experience embraces large scale urban extensions, strategies for area regeneration and detailed design. Our work is often in support of planning applications and we have a very good understanding of the development control process and planning policy requirements in relation to design. Pegasus Urban Design is well regarded and we are increasingly involved in expert design review and witness work.

Retail planning policy and its successful interpretation can be complex. Targeting retail development to existing centres and assessing the impacts of retail development has been a longstanding policy requirement. However, there are a range of other important objectives and considerations relating to local choice and competition, and accessibility to high quality retail services. Impacts on job creation, journey miles, and the facilitation and investment towards wider regeneration objectives are increasingly relevant to major retail proposals. Many retail led planning applications will require a Retail Impact Assessment. Their scope will vary but a sound understanding of general and local economic retail trends and drivers is fundamental. Accounting for all of these factors requires specialist input. As such, Pegasus has established an expertise on retail planning policy and Retail Impact Assessments.

Our graphics team provide a high quality design service and have excellent ongoing client relationships, seamlessly bring together a range of skills from both print and digital media to create strong successful solutions for a range of projects. The team has extensive experience and are key to providing engaging graphics to support and enhance a range of Pegasus project work. Design services include; brand identity, consultation leaflets, website design, exhibition displays, design and access statements, environmental reports, photography and photomontages.
