Front end engineering packages are typically developed in a structured Project Delivery Process system to ensure that they meet all project scope requirements and that stakeholder participation has occurred. PegasusTSI’s Project Manager is responsible for meeting all project requirements and leading all members of the project team by facilitating the Project Delivery Process, Value Improvement Practices (VIPs), and applying phase evaluation tools such as Construction Industry Institute`s (CII) Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI) and Independent Project Analysis`s (IPA) Front End Loading (FEL) Index.

With this knowledge PegasusTSI can provide the key requirements for successful execution of the project. PegasusTSI uses the most sophisticated management systems and tools available in the industry today and remains at the forefront of industry pacesetter capabilities.

PegasusTSI takes pride in its approach to project completion, while not necessarily unique in concept, is unique in execution from the front end of the project to plant start up, and in its dedication to “make it happen” and bringing the plant into commercial operation at the earliest opportunity. PegasusTSI structures the entire project delivery process, from basic engineering through to plant turnover to be driven by utility and process system handover rather than the normal area turnover approach. The purpose of a successful system turnover is to drive construction completion in accordance with a well defined commissioning sequence.

Our proven project delivery process follows a methodology which has been tried and tested over many challenging projects; our management tools allow all project stakeholders to maintain a real time control of the project; and the entire process is guided by seasoned Project Management staff.

The Process engineering group at PegasusTSI is comprised of broadly experienced engineers. Our experience spans technology and project life-cycle, from process development through start-up and plant troubleshooting. Technologies include specialty chemicals and polymers, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, petrochemicals and fertilizers. Process engineers have the primary role in the design of safe, economical, and environmentally compliant facilities.

The Mechanical Engineering Department has extensive experience with a large variety of equipment used in many industries including polymers and chemicals, fertilizer, fine chemicals, oil refining, power generation, pharmaceutical, environmental and wastewater treatment. PegasusTSI can specify equipment, solicit bids, evaluate quotations, purchase and support fabrication to achieve scheduled delivery. Specific equipment items include, but not limited to: pumps, compressors, fans, agitators, conveyors, filters, boilers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, tanks, pressure vessels, distillation columns, dryers, heat exchangers and reactors.

PegasusTSI’s civil/structural group is largely comprised of registered professional engineers with a wide variety of experience working on both foreign and domestic projects. Expertise includes innovative techniques for fitting new processes and equipment into existing buildings or structures as well as the analysis and design of all types of structural steel, foundations, underground piping, and site work, fireproofing and industrial related architectural work, as well as designs for modular construction and facilities engineering.

The Piping Engineering Department is experienced in developing piping material specifications, piping specialty item specifications, and pipe support specifications for a wide variety of industries. PegasusTSI uses computer programs, such as CAESAR II, for pipe stress analysis and relief system piping design and analysis. PegasusTSI can design and analyze the complete range of industrial piping systems from cryogenic process piping to high temperature and pressure power piping.

PegasusTSI provides a full line of procurement services: qualification of bidders, purchasing, subcontract administration, expediting, vendor print control and supplier quality control (SQC). Services can be provided as an integral part of the project team or as a stand-alone service. Our Procurement Group works closely with project management, engineering, project controls, quality control and construction in order to meet project requirements.

Commissioning Systems are identified during the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase. The Commissioning Manager, Project team members, and client operations team identify systems for the process plant as well as the utility and off site facilities to define the commissioning systems. The Commissioning team is assigned to the project team during the detailed design phase of a project. The team provides a monitoring function during the early stages of an EPC project, primarily for the determination of progress in critical areas.
