Evyron is a Pro-Environment Polyol ready to be dropped into existing formulations. Based on mass balance concept, Evyron™ is a partly renewable Trimethylolpropane (TMP) product designed to reduce the carbon footprint and supports sustainable sourcing of renewable raw material. Perstorp offers two grades of Evyron™, T20 and T50, based on 20% and 50% renewable resources. Both grades are supplied as flakes and molten.

Neeture is a Pro-Environment Polyol ready to be dropped into existing formulations. Based on mass balance concept, Neeture™ is a partly renewable Neopentyl Glycol (Neo) product designed to reduce the carbon footprint and supports sustainable sourcing of renewable raw material. Perstorp offers two grades of Neeture™, N20 and N40, based on 20% and 40% renewable resources. Both grades are supplied as flakes, molten and aqueous solution with 90% Neo.

Akestra is a remarkable thermoplastic with a sparkling glass-like appearance. It can be used as a polystyrene alternative for heat resistant thin wall containers, a polycarbonate alternative for durable “dishwasher proof” transparent products, and a glass alternative for hot-fill food containers. Akestra™ 90 is comparable to PETG in transparency, but with more than 10°C superior Tg and 20% higher flexural modulus and fully compatible with conventional PET. Akestra™ is available in Europe.

Voxtar PX is a mixture of polyhydric alcohols. It is a solid amorphous material. Voxtar PX is used as chemical building block and in liquid phenolic resins.

TMP has three hydroxyl groups. It is supplied in liquid form at high temperature. TMP is used in saturated polyesters for coil coatings, alkyds for paints, polyurethanes for coatings and elastomers, acrylic acid esters for radiation curing, esters for synthetic lubricants, rosin esters and for surface treatment of pigments.

Sodium Formate is a white crystalline material. It is used in the production of sodium hydrosulphite/dithionite, a bleching agent for pulp and paper, in the leather tanning process and as deicer.

Perstorp has a long history in the deicer industry as a formates supplier for both liquid and solid deicers. We have helped to develop the global deicer business with tailor-made customer solutions helping airports to optimize airport traffic and flow through the snow and ice.

NX 795 is an ester alcohol. It is a liquid. NX 795 is used as a coalescing agent for aqueous dispersions.

Boltorn™ H2004 is a liquid fatty acid modified dendritic polymer with 6 terminal hydroxyl groups. This dendritic polyol not only offers the general advantages of polyols in cationic systems like improved flexibility and reactivity, but also further improves the chemical resistance and rheological behavior of flexographic inks while maintaining high curing speed. The Newtonian behavior of printing inks containing Boltorn™ H2004 improves ink transfer at high speeds.
