Photonic Science - Vertical Laue Crystal Orientation System
Available in 3 configurations – Vertical, Horizontal, and Grain Map – the Photonic Science back reflection Laue system allows real-time crystal orientation down to 0.1 degrees accuracy. Single crystal electro-optical properties are strongly dependent on crystallographic orientations. The Laue tool collects high-resolution X-ray diffraction patterns from a single crystal, allowing the right crystallographic plane to be selected with excellent accuracy.
X-Ray Cameras
Photonic Science - X-ray Detector
The detector offers up to 50mm x 40mm active area and 6 megapixel resolution. A custom scintillator is deposited onto the camera in order to allow 12keV up to 300keV. Array versions with multiple modules are also available, delivering up to 24 megapixel resolution. The X-ray FDS 6.02MP delivers up to 1.5 fps full resolution or 6 fps in binning 2 x 2 allowing real time acquisition routine. A built in shutter allows smear free, shutterless acquisition even with exposure time down to microsecond range. Frame rate of >10 fps can be achieved when used in local sub area mode or line scan mode. A device server driver control allows remote aquisition through existing GUI interface.The cameras have a native 14-bit acquisition mode and 18-bit extended dynamic range mode.

Photonic Science - Cooled VGA SWIR InGaAs Camera
The Cooled VGA SWIR InGaAs Camera uses selected InGaAs focal plane arrays with low dark current and low defective pixel count. Thanks to efficient cooling and stable offset, the InGaAs camera allows reproducible acquisition for precise metrology measurements in the SWIR spectrum. Camera Link and Gigabit Ethernet Vision compliant interface enables easy integration into existing systems. OEM versions with special form factors / cooling options are available for integration into specific instruments / systems.

Photonic Science - Cooled sCMOS Camera
The Cooled sCMOS Cameras are operated with open software and do not require a frame grabber. They come as a straightforward and affordable upgrade to existing cooled CCD camera systems struggling to deliver high dynamic range, high resolution and high frame rate all at the same time. Compliance with Gigabit Ethernet Vision (GEV) standard allows operation with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux) and GEV compliant SDKs. OEM versions with special form factors / cooling options are available for integration into specific instruments / systems. Demonstration cameras can be loaned on request.
Neutron Detectors
Photonic Science - Neutron Detectors
Our range of cooled neutron detectors employ LiF:ZnS:Ag scintillator screens read out by very low noise high sensitivity ICCD and sCMOS sensors. Imaging applications use from 10cm x 10cm up to 43cm x 43cm active area high resolution scintillators, combined with a low noise fast read out 4096 x 4096 resolution sCMOS camera. Diffraction and Small Angle Scattering applications employ 26cm x 20cm active area high efficiency scintillators combined with a 1306 x 1040 resolution ultra low noise ICCD camera, allowing single quantum detection capability. Larger detection areas can be obtained by tiling multiple cameras together. Version for faster neutrons are available for both laboratory sealed sources as well as research reactor facilities.
