Plasticon - Chlorine Electrolysis Columns & Scrubbers
Plasticon Composites offers apparatuses for the extraction and processing of chemicals; for example, columns, reactors, agitator vessels, settling tanks, gas coolers, scrubbers, absorbers and the related components and additional equipment. These components are designed in accordance with the dynamic and hydrostatic loads that occur in the different processes. They are used in various industries such as chemical and pharmaceutical engineering, refineries and paper mills. Many of today’s Plasticon Composites products are designed to resist highly corrosive media such as hydrochloric and sulphuric acid as well as vacuum, high pressures, and temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +260 °C.
Plasticon - Thermoplastic Separator Apparatus
In order to retain certain liquids (such as fats, oils and petrol) and solids (such as starch, sludge and sand) that are not allowed to enter the sewer system, separators must be installed. Depending on the type, a distinction is made between grease separators, starch separators, coalescence separators, petrol separators, fuel oil barriers and sludge and grit traps. Plasticon Composites offers individually designed solid thermoplastic separators for most applications.
Plasticon - Chemical Process Column Internal Apparatus
Internals are an essential piece of equipment in columns responsible for chemical processes. Different types of internals help facilitate the various separation processes. Plasticon Composites offers tailor-made mist eliminators, liquid distributors, support grids and vortex breakers for an optimum column performance during an exposure to highly corrosive and aggressive media.
Plasticon - Wet Electrostatic Precipitators
Wet electrostatic precipitators are used where aerosol solid mixtures need to be separated with high efficiency. In particular for the disposal of SO3, TiO2, aerosols and fine dust, wet electrostatic precipitators are used in saturated gas atmospheres so that the purified gas only has a minimum of pollutant contents. Wet electrostatic precipitators are used in a variety of applications such as hazardous waste incineration, metal refining plants, sulphite pulp recovery boilers, and sulphuric acid plants.
