The BS series Brine Mixing Stations are all fully featured state of the art machines. The system is designed to produce brine for the purpose of Road Surface Condition Management during the winter season, specifically to treat the roads for frost, ice and snow.

The BS7000 is the flagship saturator, which includes our proven BS series control system. The model is manufactured as two systems, a MINI station which provides 10,000L of gross internal storage and the MAXI station gives a larger 22,000L capacity. A telehandler, auger or silo can used to fill the unit with Salt.

The BS6000 is our compact entry level low cost brine saturator, however it still contains the same proven control systems used on the BS7000 Series units. The internal production and storage chambers are smaller in comparison to the BS7000 and is ideal for smaller brine production requirements and can be upgraded by adding additional storage tanks should additional capacity be required in the future.

Plasticon UK offer a wide range of GRP Tanks for storing fluids or solids.  Every application has its own specific requirements, we design each GRP Tank to our clients exacting specification. Plasticon Composites can design, supply, assemble and install ducts, chimney liners and stacks at plants. We are experienced in providing ducts to all local and international markets, such as the power market for the FGD and CCS processes. Ducts can be manufactured on site or in one of our workshops. We assemble ducts from the absorber to the chimney or cooling water tower. Plasticon Composites supplies ducts from different diameters, while our on site winding machine can deliver ducts of 12 metres in diameter.

Storage tanks that are used in production and further processing of aggressive media need to meet different requirements. Plasticon Composites offers a wide range of solutions for the storage of liquids, gases and solids. The solutions consist entirely of fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) or composite constructions (FRP/thermoplastic or fluoroplastic) depending on the media characteristics. The design is customised to meet the needs of the respective operator and the environment. The storage tanks are manufactured in accordance with the customer’s safety requirements as well as current regulations (AwSV) and standards (DGRL).

Tank containers or demountable tanks are used for the safe road, rail and water transport of aggressive or ultra-pure media. Quality requirements with regard to the component are very high as hazardous materials are transported using public roads. Plasticon Composites therefore supplies special trailers in composite design (FRP with thermoplastic and fluoroplastic).

Plasticon Composites offers apparatuses for the extraction and processing of chemicals; for example, columns, reactors, agitator vessels, settling tanks, gas coolers, scrubbers, absorbers and the related components and additional equipment. These components are designed in accordance with the dynamic and hydrostatic loads that occur in the different processes. They are used in various industries such as chemical and pharmaceutical engineering, refineries and paper mills. Many of today’s Plasticon Composites products are designed to resist highly corrosive media such as hydrochloric and sulphuric acid as well as vacuum, high pressures, and temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +260 °C.
