Plexus ground probe is designed for landfill perimieter methane & H2S monitoring. Providing either 2 or 3 probe inputs, the system draws a sample from each probe and tests for methane content. All readings are sent across the network for time and date stamping and logging at the hub. While the system has been deployed for methane monitoring, it can also be used to track other gases, such as carbon dioxide emissions.

This unit enables field operators with any Bluetooth enabled Windows Mobile 6 platform to load and run Plexus Field Management software and read and write to any well site that is located within the mesh. The dongle is self contained and runs from 2 x AA alkaline batteries.

Enable field staff to take measurements from preconfigured sites with depth measurement tubes already installed, avoiding well cap removal and exposure to potentially harmful gasses. No false readings due to foaming or contamination asociated with traditional electrical tapes. Customers report they can take wellfiled measurement in half the time previously taken and with fewer errors.

providing advanced supervisory, control and data acquisition (SCADA) functionality for commercial and industrial
applications. With `out the box` auto mesh wireless functionality, IWS nodes can be easily installed at a remote location and connected to standard sensors, supporting 4-20mA or 0-5V. Either through a direct wireless connection or automatically hopping through a series of other IWS nodes, the sensor data is relayed back to the IWS Hub for termination over Ethernet to the IWS Management Server application for display, logging and alarm management.

Fully customized design to meet performance and cost targets, when loaded with a flight plan these RPAS are fully autonomous, they take off, fly and land on their own. This RPAS application is used to identify antenna and communication tower positioning & height For non line-of-sight point to point radio links this is particularly valuable as software modelling is not reliable and the risk of building an antenna tower in the wrong location is expensive. The RPAS includes video recording, on screen text showing flight information and full data text logging for heat mapping on Google Earth.

This project uses an off the shelf DJI Phantom 4 RPAS that has a methane laser detector and microSD data log payload attached. Methane concentration is read and logged with date, time and GPS coordinates for post processing on the ground where a methane concentration heat map is overlaid onto standard Google maps.

High definition video with built in First Person Video (FPV) system (flying the system from the pilot’s eye) were key to this project. The system also needed to have a long flight time and very stable operation to avoid video degradation.
