Founded in 1980, POLTANK designs and manufactures pressure vessels in polyester resins reinforced with fiber glass (FRP) for swimming pools, aquariums, water parks, zoos, aquaculture, food and beverage industry, mining , irrigation, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and desalination.

We offer the best solutions for mechanical filtration(sand filters), adsortion (activated carbon), softening & demineralization (ion exchangers) thanks to our four production plants where we combine the most advanced techniques such as filament winding and vacuum-moulding as well as hand lay-up and spray-up.

The use of fiberglass in all our processes provides a great mechanical resistance to traction, flexion and compression, presenting specific resistance higher than steel. Besides, the material withstands electrolytic and chemical attack and is ideal for saline and aggressive environments.

We comply with EN ISO-9001 certification awarded by SGS that guarantees a top-quality end product. In addition, POLTANK aware of the importance of the environment protection and sustainability, fulfills ISO14001 certification and has voluntarily stick to Regulation (EC) No. 761/2001 of the European Parliament and the Council for environmental management and audit (EMAS).
