Geology and Hydrogeology Services

Zephyr provides a variety of geologic and hydrogeologic services necessary to support our client`s needs. Our experienced geoscientists are licensed to practice in several states, including but not limited to Texas, Georgia, Missouri, Florida and Wyoming. The geoscientists at Zephyr have the technical knowledge and capabilities needed to help our clients determine the feasibility of groundwater supply development, identify geologic hazards that could potentially impact land development decisions, and identify sensitive features (geologic and/or manmade) that hydraulically connect surface and karst aquifers. The sound geologic knowledge of our geoscientists can also assist our clients in the exploration and evaluation of their property or prospective property for aggregate, clay and stone mining, and quarrying.

GIS Mapping and Database Management Service

A Geographic Information System (GIS) allows us to manage, visualize, and analyze spatial data. Zephyr has comprehensive knowledge of GIS and Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and uses this expertise to process, enhance, and illustrate our client`s project data and objectives. Whether it is a simple task of delineating the edge of a wetland, mapping the nearest sensitive receptors to your proposed site, or preparing exhibits for a contested case hearing, GIS and GPS animate spatial data making it easy to visualize and communicate simple to complex datasets.
