Powercom - Concentrator

The PCCG340 Concentrator (DCU) manages sensor readings using Communication and includes mass memory which holds up to three months of all sensor readings, acting as a smart gateway between the sensors and the data management software (MDM). The Concentrator support multi communication protocols and multiple communication methods (Serial Interface, USB, LAN-TCP/IP, PLC, GPRS and IR). The Concentrator firmware supports remote upgrade and performs manual and automatic tasks, predefined in the central software.

Powercom - Data Concentrator

The Concentrator is a Data Collection Concentrator (DCU) that is based on a standard PC with additional communications and built in redundancy. It is capable of supporting Multi-Utility metering end points (water, gas, heat, electricity) and interface with equipment from third party manufacturers. The unit is responsible for data acquisition, processing, storing, and recording data from the Meters/Repeaters.

PowerCom has developed a module for retrofitting inside existing gas meters. It is designed for counting pulses, wirelessly transmitting data and remotely closing the valve to disconnect supply. It is allows the flexibility of upgrading existing gas meters into the most advanced smart gas meter system. The upgrade unit combines state-of-the-art communications, internal batteries, all integrated and sealed in a single housing. The meter hosts either long-range two-way fixed network unlicensed RF or GPRS communications. The upgrade module can be retrofitted into any existing standard gas meter.
