Thermal Drying
Direct Drum Dryer
The direct drum dryer is a high temperature drying technology. The drum dryer is a classic drying technology, and it has a high energy efficiency. The exhaust gases coming from a furnace, a NG burner or other processes enter directly the drum, and together with the wet product passes through it. At the drum`s outlet a gas treatment system is required to separate the product from the gas stream and avoid particle emission to the atmosphere, as well as VOC`s.
EcoDry - indirect Drying System
The EcoDry system consists in drying in a sealed steam cycle with an integrated thermal oxidation. Separating the chimney gas from the drying gas has the indirect drying advantages (for instance, no contact between the chimney gas and the material to be dried, free fuel choice), as well as the direct drying ones, combining both to obtain the best advantages.
Gas Treatment
Recuperative Thermal Oxidation Plant
It consists of oxidizing fuel compounds from a gas flow, at a temperature higher than its autoignition point, during a fixed time and with optimal mixing conditions.
Regenerative Thermal Oxidation Plant
Regenerative thermal oxidizers consist of several vertical prism towers, partially filled with ceramic material, and an oxidation chamber which joins the towers.
Catalytic Oxidation
This process consists of increasing the temperature in order to obtain the VOC destruction. The use of catalysts decreases considerably the activation energy for this kind of reactions.
Rotoconcentrator
This technology is based on the adsorption properties of activated carbon or zeolites. Thanks to their porosity, they can adsorb a great part of the organic compounds in the gas.
Activated Carbon Solvent Recovery
This technology is based on the activated carbon properties: thanks to its porosity, it is possible to adsorb the greatest part of the organic compounds and extract them through means of nitrogen or steam.
Gas Washing
To solve the problems of particulate emissions to the atmosphere, we offer the system ecoWash. The development of the ecoWash system was carried out specifically for driers via direct drying trommels or other processes with powder emissions. It comprises a wet scrubber system incorporated into the gas output stack, with the advantages that this design has and an excellent cost-benefit ratio.
