Project Automation S.p.A. is the name taken in April 1999 by Philips Automation S.p.A.. Formed in 1987, the latter had taken over the Enviromental, Industrial and Civil Automation Business Units of the Philips group’s Industrial & Electro-Acoustic Systems Division. They subsequently acquired the `Traffic` Business Unit too. Today Project Automation is a leading name in `telemetering, monitoring and control system engineering` applied to the Environmental Monitoring, Mobility Supervision and Control, Public Transport Management Systems. We specialize in integrating innovative electronic and telematic technologies to produce complex systems and equipment.
