Pyri

Pyri is a nature-based early wildfire detection system that aims to make wildfire detection both accessible and scalable for regions increasingly affected by fires. The solution uses organic, heat-activated sensors made from non-toxic materials, which can be air-dropped by drone or helicopter over vast areas. These sensors activate when exposed to heat (from ignition) and instantly transmit location-specific alerts through existing networks, enabling timely response and coverage expansion. Pyri’s sensors are zero-maintenance and sustainably degrade after their operational life, minimizing environmental impact.
