The Pyroban SVH Valve is a series of air inlet shut-off valves – an integral safety component for diesel engines. Its primary use is to shut off the air supply to an engine to prevent a potential explosion.

Pyroban has a comprehensive range of spark arrestors suitable for a wide range of applications. We supply three categories of spark arrestors to a variety of lengths, diameters, pipe sizes and power ranges, allowing you to find the spark arrestor which meets your specification.

Our battery charging flameproof alternator (FPA) range is designed for a reliable output in the most arduous of environments. The fully enclosed, rugged and robust construction ensures protection against dirt, moisture and dust and provides a long service life. The Pyroban flameproof alternator is available in 24V/16A and 12V/45A versions. It is certified to ATEX and IECEx standards, making it suitable for use in potentially explosive areas.

Pyroban Ex-SIT (Exhaust Super Insulated Technology) is a revolutionary double skin exhaust duct which allows the safe removal and extraction of hot exhaust fumes from an engine. Exhaust gases can often reach up to 600°C which could lead to the exhaust surface temperature becoming an ignition source. Our innovative insulation technology ensures that outer surface of the Ex-SIT pipe remains below the T3 (200°C) temperature threshold for the site, without the need to cool the internal exhaust gas temperature or application of traditional bulky lagging materials.

The C4.4 NA HazPak is a naturally aspirated explosion protection engine designed for safe use in ATEX Zone 2 hazardous locations with its Gas Group IIA and T3 Temperature class certification. This explosion protection diesel engine provides up to 70hp at 2200rpm and is suitable for a range of well service applications such as compressor sets, gensets, wireline, hydraulic power packs, firepump packages and water jetting units.

Pyroban can use our Ex-tec 2G Zone 1 conversion technology across all brands and models of electric counter balance forklift trucks. Our extensive engineering experience allows us to design customised Zone 1 protection for almost all types and sizes of forklift trucks. We will work with your engineers to develop a protection package to offer maximum safety with the minimum of impact on your truck. We ensure that all of the truck original ergonomics and specification is retained so that the Ex-tec 2G conversation has the smallest impact possible on the day to day use of your forklift.

Pyroban can use our Ex-tec 2G Zone 1 conversion technology across all makes and models of electric reach trucks. Our extensive engineering experience allows us to design customised Zone 1 protection for almost all types and sizes of trucks. We will work with your engineers to develop a protection package to offer maximum safety with the minimum of impact on your truck. We ensure that all of the reach truck original ergonomics and specification is retained so that the Ex-tec 2G conversation has the smallest impact possible on the day to day running of your equipment.

Explosion protection safety kits for diesel engines intended for Zone 2 hazardous areas in well service and production applications. Available for leading brands and models. Pyroban ATEX kits are available for leading engine brands and models.

Pyroban HazPak™ 100 – >100 bhp ATEX engines are Radiator to flywheel, Ex-certified packaged engines. The most popular brands are Cat, JCB and Perkins, but we  can also convert most other brands.  When you specify a Pyroban Hazpak™ you’re buying a pre-engineered and certified solution suitable for Zone 2 hazardous areas. Pyroban have conducted all necessary engineering, testing and final certification, including all Flame non-transmission testing and thermal testing in our Dyno facility.  We can produce standard packages that comply with EN1834-1:2000, but also have the flexibility to address problems using ATEX 2014/34/EU and EN1127 and complete customised packages for IECEx, NORSOK Z-15 and DNV 2.7-2 Applications. Fixed and Variable speed options are available. Depending on the specification of the donor engine.  Donor engines can be free issued, or Pyroban can supply as part of the package.
