Founded in 1986 with a strong commitment to research and development, Quatrosense Environmental Ltd. (QEL) is a privately held, North American Corporation. The 18,000 square foot head office and factory is located in Richmond, Ontario, just outside Ottawa, Canada’s capital. QEL manufactures and markets a wide selection of instrumentation for hazardous gas detection. With this equipment QEL assists its customers in the protection of life, property, and the environment. QEL has focused its growing resources on diversification of the product line. Indoor air quality and refrigerant leak gas detection products were developed that today produce large volumes of sales. Specialized equipment and turnkey systems were also developed for numerous markets including the Mining, Petrochemical, Breweries, and Landfill Industry. New gas sensors, design and packaging improvements increased the quality and reliability of the industrial products throughout the 1990’s.
