RDT - Model MSND - Microstructured Semiconductor Neutron Detector
The MSND is a core technology developed as an alternative to He-3 for thermal neutron detection. MSNDs can be configured in custom or RDT standard configurations (e.g. Domino) to provide compact, high efficiency neutron detectors that maximize SWAP-C parameters. Detector’s based on MSND technology can be implemented in handheld, wearable, stationary, and mobile detection systems.
RDT - Model Domino - Thermal Neutron Detector
The Domino® provides the smallest form factor, high efficiency alternative to He-3 for thermal neutron detection while retaining minimal sensitivity nuisance gamma ray-radiation. In recent years, Dominos have been successfully integrated into many larger detector systems that have been successfully deployed. The Domino® and other MSND-based technologies that have been SWAP-C optimized into your radiation detector suite. The Domino® has a digital output per module and the digital outputs may also be tied together in the tiled format.
RDT - Model Li-Foil - Multiwire Proportional Counter (MWPC) Neutron Detector
Li-Foil Multi-wire Proportional Counter (MWPC) Neutron Detectors provide an affordable large-area alternative to the 3He-based and BF3 detectors, maintaining a high thermal-neutron detection efficiency, at a comparable volume, mass, voltage, and power required. The Li-Foil MWPC can be integrated into existing electronics technology prepared originally for 3He-based or BF3 detectors. There is a strong demand for light-weight, large-area, and high efficiency neutron detectors to be integrated into systems as a direct replacement for more expensive or outdated equipment. This offers an affordable solution while maintaining high neutron detection sensitivity and ruggedness that is known of 3He-based detectors.
