Does this mean that you as a customer just need to call and we will take care of everything? Yes, that’s right! Our service goes further than that of any other supplier of temporary flood barriers, we therefore believe that we do not sell a product but provide a service. A service in which the customer is king. A service that can provide exactly what the customer wants.

The installation of the Tubebarrier is simple, fast and can be installed almost anywhere. The Tubebarrier flood defences is delivered per 10 meter element complete in a pallet box, which contains everything you need for the installation of the weir. Every situation is different and therefore the set up of the weir varies. But globally, you place the pallet boxes every 10 meters and draw the elements out of the boxes, just so that the sides of the Tubebarriers meet. The elements are connected to each other. Also there is a flap that one draws over the connection. This in order to neatly close it all. By doing this you have connected the two elements. Repeat this process with the other elements.

When you have to place the Tubebarrier against a wall or berm, special side wall pieces are available. These side walls consist of the same material as the Tubebarrier itself. There is a left and a right version of the side walls available. These side walls ensure that there is no or little water between the wall (or wall) and the barrier runs to the dry side.

The Tubebarrier has an easy working principle and consists of a tube/tunnel of a flexible material to which a slab is attached at the front. At the front of the tube are filling openings situated at the bottom which will fill the tube with water. The slab may be weighted or anchored at the beginning of the slab, so that rising water does not lift the slab and passes below the weir. Because of adding the weight or anchor we avoid the so-called “piping”.

The Material of the Tubebarrier flood defences has proven itself already for many years. In strength and temperature fluctuations also it is mold and rot-free. When the flood defences is used for flood protection, after the water has receded, it might be wet and  dirty. At the top of the Tubebarrier there are (ventilation) holes where you can simply put in a (garden) hose to clean the inside. This should be easy, because when the water level subsides, it will also run out the dirt which might have been in the Tubebarrier.

It is strongly recommended to wash and dry the water barrier before storing it. This allows you to check for any damages that may have occurred during use. Cleaning the product with a pressure washer is strongly recommended. Dirt and trapped in humidity do not affect the quality or the resistance of the barrier, but could lead to unpleasant smells when the barrier is used again.
Make sure that the drainage tubes that are located under the barrier are stored clean and dry in the box.
