Redwing Environmental is an independent environmental consultancy located in the market town of Atherstone in Warwickshire. We are UKAS and MCERTs accredited for a wide range of industrial emissions tests and are the authorized distributor for Zambelli S.r.l., manufacturer of high quality air emissions monitoring instruments, accessories and consumables. Our servicing department is equipped to perform repairs, calibrations and periodic servicing of Zambelli sampling equipment and holds many of the most common spares in stock. The Company was formed in 2004 by directors Philip Butler and Elena Berek to offer a range of industrial emissions monitoring services to companies throughout the UK and Ireland.

Between them, Philip and Elena have more than 30 years experience in stack emissions monitoring having previously worked for some of the most respected environmental consultancies in the UK. From humble beginnings, Redwing Environmental has grown steadily over the last few years into a multi-disciplinary consultancy serving a large number of clients from various industrial backgrounds.

We supply the most common spare parts and accessories to ensure we can offer a fast and reliable calibration service.
Redwing Environmental originally began trading from a farm office complex in Ansley, Nuneaton. The Company was set up in March 2004 by former colleagues Philip Butler and Elena Berek to provide emissions monitoring services to industry. Within a year of trading Redwing was awarded the ISO 9001 standard for quality management.
In 2007, the Company announced an agreement with leading equipment manufacturer Zambelli S.r.l. of Italy to distribute and service their range of emissions monitoring equipment throughout the UK and Ireland.
In 2009 and to meet the needs of a growing business, Redwing Environmental relocated to larger premises on a recently redeveloped industrial estate in Atherstone, Warwickshire. Improved facilities at the new premises include an enhanced servicing and calibration department and a dedicated laboratory. Shortly afterwards, the Company gained UKAS and MCERTs accreditation for a wide range of industrial emissions tests and for our filter weighing procedures, further demonstrating our commitment to the quality process.
The Company was awarded ISO 14001 accreditation for environmental management in 2011 in recognition of our commitment to reduce our environmental impact of our business operations. The following year, and in recognition of our high standards in health and safety management, the Company achieved accreditation from safecontractor, a widely recognised health and safety accreditation scheme for UK contractors.
Redwing Environmental is MCERTs and UKAS accredited for a wide range of industrial emissions tests and have an accomplished record of Part A and Part B process monitoring. The MCERTS Manual Stack Emissions Monitoring Scheme is an Environment Agency initiative to ensure stack emissions monitoring is carried out to an appropriate and consistent standard. Our dedicated teams of consultants are MCERTs certified and have the technical experience to provide our clients with a professional level of service.
We are an active member of the Source Testing Association (STA), an organization formed in 1995 to promote the science and practice of emissions monitoring while maintaining a high quality of service to customers. In 2005, Redwing Environmental were part of a joint project ran by the STA and the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) to determine the validity of sampling nozzle design as used in low dust emissions monitoring to BS EN 13284-1. The Company also participates in the STA/NPL Stack Proficiency Testing Scheme which focuses on the quality of combustion gas measurement and weighing techniques.
