Recreational ponds, wastewater lagoons, fish grow-out ponds and small, shallow lakes have always exhibited the problem of organic matter collecting on the bottom and eventually becoming polluted. Wastewater lagoons are especially fraught with problems because their purpose is to clean the wastewater to the point that it can be released back into the environment. Over the years many different things have been attempted to assist in degrading the organic matter that builds up in the “sludge” on the bottom of these water bodies.

The Reliant  Lagoon Commander Pond/Lagoon Mixer continuously, and slowly, moves water along the bottom of a lagoon/pond, continually mixing the entire water column using a minimum of energy. When compared to standard surface aerators or directional mixers, the Lagoon Commander is more efficient, less costly to operate, and requires minimal maintenance.

Every modern town or city has a wastewater collection system of some type. The wastewater collection system is the conduit for used water, both sanitary and gray (relatively clean, including storm water) water, which initiates at the individual homes and businesses in the community. A primary part of the wastewater collection system is a number of “wet wells” that are used as wastewater collection points, or intercepts, from community neighborhoods. Often, lift stations, complete with large electric waste pumps, are used to keep the water moving to the city’s wastewater treatment plant.

The Reliant Water Technologies SCOUT Hydro Profiling System is the answer to obtaining clear and concise shallow water survey data quickly and inexpensively. By not only providing a visual hydrographic ‘picture’ of everything underwater, in any shallow body of water, the SCOUT also provides the volume of sludge in the water body (as well as the volume of free water). The ‘picture’ provided is color enhanced in order to provide clear, definitive delineation of variable depths of sludge, or debris, and includes multi-point water depth over-lays.

A wastewater treatment plant gives off two end products – relatively clean water and sludge, a collection of untreated solids residue. The latter is a primary problem in almost every wastewater plant in the world. Sludge and organic solids within the wastewater process cause offensive odors and always add major processing costs due to collection, separation, and disposal. Reliant Water Technologie’s Sewper Rx provides a proven, patented product that almost completely eliminates organic solids, thus reducing or eliminating odors and saving major operational and disposal costs for plant management. Sewper Rx is not added daily, or even weekly, but usually only once every 30 to 180 days.
