At Remon, a deferrization plant is an open purification system in which well water (groundwater) is atomized at the top of the filter tower. The presence of oxygen oxidises metals like iron and manganese in the back of the filter package. If the filter pack is saturated over time, the backwash system is automatically activated. A reverse flushing cycle, in combination with gusts of wind, ensures that the filter package is cleaned and ready for further purification. Remon started the production of the first real ‘fully automatic’ deferrization plant more than 40 years ago.

The Titan Magnus is the largest in the Titan range. This system is capable of delivering up to 30m3 per hour and consists of 2 components; a basic frame with the control and pump on it and a separate pipe frame. With this application, the system can be built quickly, and it is modularly expandable, even at a later stage. The Titan Magnus typically finds its way in the industry and glasshouses. Thanks to the online control and the 10" colour display, this machine is made for the demanding customer who is permanently dependent on his/her (demineralized) water.

This dynamic multifilter REM4000 is "the system to use" when it comes to larger systems. Whether it`s a large ion exchanger or a TITAN Magnus, the REM4000 multifilter is capable to treat and degas large amounts of water. The REM4000 can be placed in
parallel and for that reason the dynamic control has been developed by Remon. In this way, multiple REM4000 multifilters can be
combined and the amount of water to be purified is basically infinite. So, continuity is guaranteed, intermediate buffers for  ackwashing filters are no longer required, and water can be produced 24/7.

Remon`s EDI systems have been developed entirely in-house and are equipped with a cell produced in the West, so that the end quality of the ultrapure water is secured. For the pre-treatment of an EDI system, a softener and a membrane filtration system with reverse osmosis should always be used first. For this, the water is of sufficient quality to be treated with EDI. In practice, this is called a demineralisation street.

If the operating and continuity is an issue, you will soon get to the domain of the triplex. With this system, it is flawlessly recorded how much water is consumed per bottle, when a bottle needs to be rinsed, and how much water is consumed in total, if no flushing takes place, all three bottles are in use, and during  rinsing, the capacity of 2 other bottles is always maintained. A Triplex ion exchanger is always equipped with dry-salt bed technology, and is also increasingly performed with air valve control through pic and touch screen control.

At sea, both on oil rigs and platforms and ships, it is important that you have sufficient fresh water. Remon Water Treatment purifies the salt sea water of the sea using the Remon Water Maker so that you always have access to clean, pure water. The pure water can be used for various applications, like consumption, cleaning, air humidification and process water. No more precious time is wasted docking in a port to refill the water tank.

Remon`s oxidizer was fully authorized as a purification machine for the 2018 Plant Protection Products Treatment Act by the Assessment Committee on Water Treatment Techniques Greenhouse Industry (BZG) in 2017, and is available in 3 capacities. All machines are equipped with online control and touch screen operation.

Remon provides both standard pumps and custom solutions. From small pressure pumps with a single impeller to large, multistage, multi-pump boosters with intelligent frequency converters for constant working pressure, which allow pumps and controllers to talk to each other. A booster composed by Remon will, for example, always run at the minimum number of pumps at a certain water demand, and if the water demand increases and 1 pump can no longer handle it, it will add a second pump, and, if necessary, a third pump, etc. This gives you the most energy efficient solution for your pressure boosting.

The most professional way of drinking water disinfection is surely UV light. With a professional drinking water UV, the water is shined through with UV light, and any bacteria, yeasts and viruses are sterilized by the UV light with a specific wavelength of 254 nm. This prevents the organism from reproducing and therefore it will die.
