Wastewater Treatment

Remosa - Model NECOR - Sludge Wastewater Treatment Plant

Compact domestic waste water treatment plant using sludge activated with a culture fixed on a fluidised bed. NECOR’s aim is to reduce the carbonaceous and nitrogenous pollution of waste water, obtaining levels of purifications high enough to be able to discharge water into the environment without damaging the environment; in a single compact unit to make installation easier and of an optimal size to reduce operating costs.

Remosa - Model SBREM - Sequential Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant

Sequential domestic wastewater treatment plant with removal of nitrogenous pollution. SBREM’s aim is to reduce the carbonaceous and nitrogenous pollution of waste water, obtaining levels of purifications high enough to be able to discharge water into the environment without damaging the environment; in a single compact unit to make installation easier and of an optimal size to reduce operating costs.

Remosa - Model ROX - Activated Sludge System

ROX is an activated sludge system with extended aeration that delivers purified water of excellent quality. The treatment principle consists of putting into contact the biomass (composed of aerobic bacteria that develop in the presence of oxygen), substances it feeds on (organic material in the water to be treated and which is the source of the pollution) and the air supplied by small compressors. Unlike the DECANROX, it doesn’t have a primary decanter and the water to be treated comes into direct contact with the oxygen. Treatment plant using activated sludge with extended aeration of domestic wastewater.

Remosa - Catch Basin – Digester / Septic Tank

The digester septic tank receives all the domestic wastewater from the house and pretreats it. Composed of two compartments in which the decanting (faster than in a septic tank) and the digestion of the organic material present in the wastewater take place. Anaerobic bacteria, without oxygen, are responsible for metabolising organic matter by gasifying, hydrolysing and mineralising it. Closed tank in which sludge is in direct contact with domestic wastewater passing through the structure. Solid organic matter is partially decomposed by the action of anaerobic bacteria.

Remosa - Model Imhoff - Anaerobic Biological Pretreatment Tank

The Imhoff tank is a combined anaerobic biological pretreatment tank. The sedimentation (in the top part) and the anaerobic digestion of the organic material on the bottom take place in the same dual-compartment unit.

Remosa - Accumulation Tank

This unit is the best wastewater storage solution when the ground characteristics or authorities’ requirements make it impossible/illegal to discharge wastewater into the environment. This is collected in the tank and when it is full it must be emptied. A ventilation pipe must be installed at the gas outlet, to avoid odour problems.

Remosa - Septic Tanks with Filter

Septic tank filter. Closed tank in which sludge is in direct contact with domestic wastewater passing through the structure. Solid organic matter is partially decomposed by the action of anaerobic bacteria. The pretreated water is streamed over the bacterial bed of a spe- cific mass of material (50 to 200 m2· m-3) serving as substrate for the microorganisms that form a film of variable thickness on it. Aeration is done by natural draft.

Wastewater Treatment - Complementary Equipment

Remosa - Model FRP - Fats Separator

The fats separator is an essential component in the treatment of household wastewater that may contain a considerable volume of fats or animal or vegetable origin. Built in accordance with standard NF EN 1825-1. They must be installed in hotels, restaurants, camp sites, schools, etc. ACO Remosa has standard units of up to 5,000 litres, and higher capacities available on request.

Remosa - Parshall Type Flow Meter

PARSHALL-type flow meter in open channel with ultrasound flow gauge. This is an instrument that measures the average speed of the effluent at the inlet or outlet of the treatment plant.

Remosa - Decanters/Thickeners

An essential feature in urban and industrial wastewater treatment is the secondary decanter. The sludge concentration and thickening procedures and the decanting and reduction of the materials take place in these. A physical sedimentation of the decantable products present in the wastewater then takes place. The thickening decanter function enables us to reduce the treatment plant’s operating costs.
