A fixed gas sensor that meets the requirements for economic and reliable monitoring of gas levels in a wide range of environments and applications. Initially designed for the monitoring of gases within cabins, enclosures and cabinets the addition of an optional mains supply input expanded its use into conventional areas of gas detection covering boiler plant rooms, gas meter houses, battery charger rooms and many other commercial and light industrial applications.

More than 200 different Drager-tubes are available to accurately make spot measurements for over 500 gases and vapours.  The short-term Dräger-tubes are employed either manually together with the Dräger accuro gas detection pump or automatically together with the pump accuro 2000 or the compact microprocessor-controlled Quantimeter 1000. A great number of different gases and vapors can be measured by the short-term Dräger-tubes. These tubes are used e.g. for the determination of concentration peaks, the measurement of exposures in the inhalation area, the determination of possible leakages as well as for the analysis of air in sewers, shafts, tanks or other confined spaces.

Gastec detector tubes are of the highest quality for analysing a wide variety of gases, vapours and ground substances accurately. From acetaldehyde to xylene, the gastec pump and standard detector tubes can monitor over 600 gases and vapours.
