Asbestos Disposal
RILTA Environmental provides a range of Asbestos Removal Services, from the supply of asbestos packaging to the transport and authorised disposal of all asbestos waste. RILTA Environmental has a nationwide Waste Collection Permit. The handling and packaging of Asbestos must comply with the Health and Safety Guidelines for Carriage of Asbestos and Asbestos Waste by Road. A Waste Transfer Form is required for each movement of Asbestos. Hauliers must have the relevant waste collection permits.
Battery Recycling
RILTA Environmental is the largest lead acid battery recycler in Ireland. We provide an extensive nationwide collection service. RILTA provides bunded battery boxes complete with lids to our customers. Batteries are collected and transported in accordance with the ADR regulations and waste management legislation. All batteries are processed at RILTA’s EPA licensed facility. Batteries are then exported under TFS (Transfrontier Shipment) documentation for recycling at authorised European smelters.
Contaminated Soils
RILTA has carried out decontamination, disposal and groundwater remediation on a wide variety of sites, e.g. petrol stations, gas works, port developments, landfills, domestic, industrial, commercial, power generation and pharma-chem sites. RILTA operates the largest contaminated soil transfer station in Ireland and offers cost effective solutions for the removal and disposal of contaminated soils. For larger projects we can offer transport and export directly from the contaminated site to the disposal facility.
Hazardous Waste Management
RILTA provides solutions for the recovery and/or disposal of all hazardous waste streams at facilities in the UK, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and USA.
Industrial Tanker Services
RILTA Environmental has provided a range of environmental services to our clients for over 35 years using the largest and most modern fleet of vacuum tankers and tank cleaning equipment in Ireland. All operations are carried out by fully trained, highly experienced and skilled staff to the most stringent health and safety standards.
