The UN-14 is a unit-type amplifier for connection of various microphones. Each unit has the width of 36 mm and can be connected to a maximum of 16 units for 16-channel measurement. It is a highly expandable sound pressure amplifier that can be mixed and connected to the optional UV-15 vibration meter unit and controlled from a PC by connecting it to the UV-22 interface unit. Each unit is equipped with a display, enabling the sound pressure level to be checked in real time, and the A-weighting characteristic is also provided as a frequency weight, making it suitable for noise measurement. The UV-16 is a charge amplifier with 2-channel inputs per unit; each unit has a low-profile design with a width of 36 mm and can link up to 16 units and measure 32 channels. A display on the front provides information on the measuring range and the amount of signal being input with a bar indicator. An analogue output for each channel is provided on the rear panel for voltage output to a later stage measuring instrument or data logger. This amplifier is ideal for properly amplifying accelerometer signals and for logging with good SN.

It is also possible to expand the number of channels up to 8 by connecting two units together. Signals recorded on the SD card can be analysed and processed using the supplied software or the AS-70.
