Roberts Filter Group products
Aries - Managed Air System
The Aries Managed Air System provides operators with a simple and cost-effective way to integrate air scour solutions into existing filters. No need to replace filter media or underdrains, installs quick with very little downtime.
Packaged Water Treatment Plant
Pacer II Packaged Water Treatment Plants are recognized by operators, large and small, as a proven way to meet your production needs, especially where space and time are limited.
Trilateral Underdrain System
Trilateral SST underdrains incorporate innovative hydraulic design to guarantee even backwash distribution. Drawing on more than 130 years of industry expertise, the Trilateral is engineered to optimize filter performance in any conditions.
Filter Underdrains - Gravity Filtration Products
Infinity - Filter Underdrain
Underdrains are a critical part of water filtration, yet many are made in a one-size-fits-all approach using pieced-together connections attached with fasteners. This can create a number of unforeseen equipment breakdowns, corrosion points or gaps that are proven to fail over time. This flawed method often leads to difficult installations, wasted space and the ever-present risk of joint failures. Roberts Filter Group revolutionized underdrains nearly 20 years ago with the debut of the Infinity – the firstof- its-kind continuously extruded product specifically designed to fit any installation perfectly.
Wheeler Bottoms Underdrains
The Roberts PWI rehabilitation system for Precast and Monolithic Wheeler Bottom Underdrains quickly convert existing Wheeler Bottoms from a conventional system into a gravel-less underdrain. This rehabilitation system utilizes a porous plate insert assembly anchored in each hopper by a stainless steel toggle bolt. The toggle bolt passes through the porcelain thimble and locks the PWI insert securely to the underdrain. By incorporating the PWI inserts, filter freeboard can typically be increased by 9″ – 12″ (22.8cm – 30.4cm) without any structural modifications to your existing filter basins. The PWI inserts are available in appropriate sizes to fit snugly into the Precast or Monolithic Wheeler underdrain hoppers.
Pressure Filtration
Horizontal Pressure Filter
Roberts offers horizontal pressure filters in diameters of up to 12 feet (365.7cm). Different from other pressure filters in the industry, Roberts’ pressure filters utilize the low headloss Infinity™ underdrain and the Aries® Managed Air System. These unique features reduce backwash head requirements, improve backwash distribution characteristics, and achieve efficient backwash cycles. These features, along with Roberts’ standard instrumentation and control package, simplify design and minimize startup complications.
Package Filtration Products
Pacer II - Packaged Water Treatment Plants
Packaged water treatment plants are recognized by operators, large and small, as a proven way to meet immediate needs for increased capacity, especially where space and time is limited. Yet, most products are made to general specifications that make it difficult to integrate and operate efficiently. The Roberts Pacer II is built with the operator in mind. As the industry’s leading package plant in the U.S., it is designed with superior parts, deep knowledge and decades of experience. From Roberts’ specially designed ContaClarifier™ media to its high-quality tanks, no other system offers as much advanced technology and full-system control as the Pacer II. Used extensively by a range of operators in both the public and private sectors, the Pacer II delivers proven efficiency and reliability in one complete package.
Reliant - Package Water Treatment Plants
The fully automated Reliant water and wastewater package treatment plants offer an economical means of removing high levels of turbidity, color, metals, and waterborne disease organisms. The Reliant is a conventional system utilizing flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration. It is generally recommended for use where turbidities are regularly above 150 NTU. Reliant package treatment plants work by chemically treating, flash mixing, and mechanically flocculating raw water to form a strong, settleable floc; thus promoting high efficiency floc settling and continuous gravity desludging. Dual or multi-media filters perform final filtration.
