FRANK - Specialist Valves
FRANK plastic AG supplies specialist valves such as: gauge guards, used to decouple the working medium from the pressure meter. water jet pumps, used to mix and draw in fluids. throttle sleeves, used to adjust fluid volumes manually. venting and bleeder valves, used to vent and bleed pipes manually. floating valves, used to control the inflow into tanks and containers automatically.
Measurement and Control Technology
Pressure Control Valves
Our pressure control valves from PVC, PP or PVDF (further materials available upon request) reduce system pressure to a defined value. They are available with widths of DN10–DN100. Using differential pressure, the pressure reducer adjusts itself to the set operating pressure. There is no direct relation between the outlet and inlet pressure. The output point acts on the membrane surface via a control bore, pushing against the set spring force. When an equilibrium of forces has been reached, the valve closes and maintains a constant operating pressure. If the pressure on the output side falls, this means that the set spring force is greater. The valve opens to restore the equilibrium.
Pressure Retention and Overflow Valves
Pressure retention valves are normally used in plants that require invariable pressure. The valve regulates the pressure in front of the valve to a specified target value. The set spring force presses the piston onto the seal. If the plant pressure exceeds the value set for the operating pressure, the valve opens.
Water Pipe Flow Meters
Our flow meters utilise the float measuring principle to measure flow volumes in closed pipes. The medium passes through the flow meter in an upward direction; the float is lifted and displays the flow volume on the integrated scale. The reading edge corresponds to the largest diameter of the float. Our flow meters are equipped with a scale for water (scales are also available for many other media) and 2 mechanic target value displays (electronic encoders are available).
Fluid Management
Röchling - Mixing and Injection Systems
For many years, Röchling’s Waldachtal plant has been producing mixing systems that allow patients to mix and administer their drugs themselves. These systems consist of a single unit that is placed on top of a small container holding a powdered drug. A syringe pre-filled with dilution liquid is fitted to the end of the mixing system. The liquid now passes into the small container with the drug so that both components are mixed. By turning the entire mixing system upside down, the mixed drug is transferred back into the syringe.
Röchling - Cardiotomy Reservoirs Device
The components for cardiotomy reservoirs are subject to some of the most stringent requirements in the field of plastics processing. Minimal blood trauma and excellent air management are two of the main qualities of a reservoir. These qualities can only be achieved if the components and necessary injection molds are optimally designed, the dimensional accuracy and surface quality are perfectly aligned and the components are transparent. Only by producing in a continuously monitored clean room with a minimal amount of particles and germs and by using specially manufactured packaging solutions can we ensure high-quality deliveries to our customers.
