STS installed the first monitor on a food waste AD plant in 2017.
The plant in the UK is run by a water company and is co-located with a waste water sewage works although this is not used as feed for the Combined Heat & Power generation units.

Activated carbon filters work by passing the biogas derived from the AD plant through a metal tower filled with activated carbon. Normally the gas will have been dried by running through a chilling plant to remove excess water which would be absorbed by the Carbon.

STS are pleased to announce that the Thermo RadEye(tm) G-10 and GF-10 Safe-Series simulators are now available as part of the Safe-Series simulation range.
These all new simulators use a real unmodified Thermo RadEye with the GM tube removed and the STS simulation circuit added. The STS circuit generates pulses from the radio signal received from the simulated source and send these pulses directly to the RadEye circuit outputing as a standard reading in Sv`s.
