Saiv - Model APB5 - Automatic CTD Profiling System
The Automatic CTD profiling system, APB5 (Automatic Profiling Buoy ver. 5) is designed for monitoring water quality parameters in coastal waters, fjords, lakes, and aquaculture installations. It consists of a self-contained, solar panel driven, remotely operated, floating buoy and a CTD (Conductivity, salinity, temperature, and depth/pressure) winch-controlled profiling probe. The standard SAIV AS CTD204/208 profiling probe can be upgraded with oxygen, fluorescence, turbidity etc. The APB5 operation system, is web-based and can be remotely configured to set profile intervals, depth, and speed of profile. The APB5 buoy can also be equipped with a Weather Station (GPS, wind speed, wind direction, air temperature) and a ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler). The standard profiling depth is 75 meters, but can be extended to 190 meters. The resolution of the profile is based on the configuration of the chosen measuring intervals and the speed of the winch.

The model SD208 is often also called CTD profiler, STD profiler, Sound Velocity profiler, CTD Instrument and CTD sonde .
Saiv - Model SD204 - CTD/STD Profiler
The model SD204 is also called CTD profiler, STD profiler, Sound Velocity profiler, CTD Instrument and CTD Sonde. The SD204 measures, calculates and records sea water conductivity, salinity, temperature, depth (pressure), sound velocity and water density. Therefor the SD204 is often referred as a Sound profiler.
Saiv - Model CU801 - Realtime Data Acquisition System
The Communication Unit CU801 is a unit for governing data acquisition from SAIV instrument attached on buoys/land station in the field. All sensors from SAIV can be connected to the CU801 for live data acquisition/monitoring/recording. The Cu801 is often used together with model TD301R for tide and water level recording.
Saiv - Model TD301R - Water Level Recorder
The TD301R is a high precision temperature and depth instrument for recording/ monitoring of Tide level in the sea and water level in lakes, water reservoirs, groundwater and in rivers etc. Also measurement of temperature is included. The sensing element is a unique pressure sensor with built-in temperature compensation. A feature that maintane the high accuracy (0.01%) over a broad temperature range (-2 to +40 deg C). Atmospheric pressure is directly compensated for by an air pipe inside the cable. The air pipe is vented through a Goretex filter on the On-Land-Unit. Data are recorded and/or transmitted in physical units via an RS-232 I/O watertight connector.
Saiv - Model TD301/TD303 - Depth & Temperature Recorder
The TD301/TD303 are precision instruments measuring temperature and depth (pressure) in the sea, lakes, water reservoirs, groundwater, rivers and on R.O.V/A.U.V. etc. All settings like measuring interval, real time clock etc, are accessed via menu. The programmed settings and calibration coefficients are maintained in nonvolatile eeprom, and will not be changed/lost if power is disconnected. The model TD301 has a built-in replaceable battery for self- contained recording applications. On/Off- switching is by a magnetic key or from keyboard.
Saiv - Model TD304 - Tide Recorder
The TD304 is a high precision instrument for recording/monitoring of tide or water level(tide gauge). It have a high accuracy temperature recording. Optional sensors can be added: dissolved oxygen, turbidity and fluorescence. For optional sensors with several sensitivity ranges, the TD304 has auto range capability. The accompanying software, SD200W, contains versatile functions for programming, postand online data processing and presentations: - multigraph, online plotting, density and depth calculations. The program is continuously extended according to customer`s requests.
Saiv - Model 205 - Oxygen Sensor
The SAIV Oxygen is a probe that is built on Oxyguard dissolved oxygen probe. The sensor i s a membrane-covered galvanic cell that generates its own voltage(clark-cell). The SAIV oxygen probe is designed to fit the SAIV SD204 and SD208 CTD instruments without any extra cables or units. The SAIV oxygen sensor is easy to add to the SD models. It can operate in lakes and oceans at depths up to 6000 m.
Saiv - Model OSU106 - Optional Sensor Unit
The SAIV OSU106 (Optional Sensor Unit) is a attachment unit to SD204 and SD208. The OSU106 will together with the SD model become a multi parameter probe/ Instrument. The OSU106 have physical mounting brackets for sensors like turbidity, fluorescence, PAR, optical oxygen sensors and more. It also contains a packet of lithium batteries for powering the sensors.
