San-I-Pak`s Auto Series articulating chamber design has been developed in recognition of 3 major issues concerning the choice of a biohazardous waste treatment system. The first important issue is safe handling of the waste, the second issue is equipment capital cost and the third is operational cost. Recognizing a facility`s needs and servicing those needs, while being adaptable enough to allow for innovation, has distinguished San-I-Pak as the worlds most successful waste handling system available. One of the unique Patented advantages of a San-I-Pak system is that it is a dual waste system, facilities can simultaneously compact general waste while sterilizing infectious waste. General waste is treated along with the infectious waste or it is dumped directly from the existing carts into the compactor. Once the compactor `start` button is pressed, the compactor ram pushes the general waste into the roll-off container. When the roll-off container is full, it is disconnected from the compactor, loaded on the waste haulers truck and hauled to the landfill or designated final disposal site.

The San-i-pak Sharps Machine comes in two versions, each having a different price. One system is designed to render sterilized sharps Unreusable and the other style renders sharpsunrecognizable. The units have been designed specifically for sharps materials, utilizing low speed, high torque cutting. The sophisticated electronics incorporated into the San-I-Pak Sharps Machine monitors the operation and informs the operator to the status of the machine.
