AMSD - Model 3B - Integrated Distance Measuring Systems
The integrated distance measuring system allows the machine to travel the most precise path whilst adhering to the strictest tolerances. When exact linear motions are required, the profiled linear guideways used must fulfil the highest quality requirements. In addition, extremely precise distance measurement is needed. With its integrated distance measuring systems for a variety of applications, Schneeberger offers cost-optimized solutions.
AMSA - Model 3B - Integrated Distance Measuring Systems
SCHNEEBERGER’s AMSA 3B MONORAIL is an integrated measuring system for distance measurement for use on all protected machine tool axes with high demands on system precision. Mechanically the AMSA 3B is based on SCHNEEBERGER’s MR MONORAIL roller guide with lengths up to 6 metres. The integration of the measurement system allows very compact axes to be put together. An analog 1Vss (200 μm signal period) interface, with different cable lengths, is available as the interface with the control system. Combined with SCHNEEBERGER’s SMEa interpolation electronics, very high-resolution and fast digital signals can be provided. Reference marks can be set at 50mm intervals or distance coded. Different options for carriage lubrication and sealing permit the best possible degree of adaptation to application requirements. The easily interchangeable reading head is identical for all sizes.
AMSA - Model 4B - Integrated Distance Measuring Systems
Magneto-resistive distance measuring system specially designed for applications in machine tools. Suitable solutions are available for a wide range of applications. This means that it is always possible to travel the most precise paths whilst adhering to the strictest tolerances.
AMSD - Model 4B - Integrated Distance Measuring Systems
The profiled linear guideways that have been developed with integrated distance measuring systems provide cost-optimized solutions for a variety of applications, whilst meeting the highest quality requirements. The MONORAIL AMSD 4B is an integrated magneto-resistive measuring system for distance measurement based on the MONORAIL BM profile guideway with an incremental, digital interface. The AMSA 4B is the starting point for this product. The section rails are thus identical and are compatible with both AMSA 4B and AMSD 4B. The AMSD 4B version has an incremental, digital interface and a range of reading head options that permit different resolutions and allow the system to be adapted to control systems with different input frequencies.
