The SchuF automatic recirculation valve is a unique design whose performance has been perfected through simulation and joint research and development with the universities of Magdeburg and Darmstadt.

SchuF is the inventor of the Lift Plug Valve - the first double block and bleed switch and/or isolation valve. The original patent was received in 1914. Today, the Lift Plug is widely used in the Chemical, Refinery (including Delayed Coking, Hydrocracking, and Visbreaking), Polymer, Cement, Power and Mining industries.

The SchuF Group designs and manufactures a fast, easy to use and safety conscious Line Blind Valve range. They are often refered to as spectacle blinds, figure of eights, or blinding systems.

Model 27SE - Steam injection valve. The steam is injected through nozzles in the tip of the hollow piston.

This type of valve is installed close to the water surface in the boiler. Continuous Blow-Down Valves remove dissolved solids at a continuous rate from the top layer of the boiler water, insuring that the minimum required quantity is discharged from the boiler during the process. Blow-down Valves are available as Angle (Type 71), Y-Globe (Type 50SR) and Straight (55BS) Type.

This type of valve removes alkaline earths, phosphates or polyacrylates that may form a sludge at the bottom of the lowest boiler drum and can affect heat transfer. The Intermittent Blow-Down Valve is mostly a quick opening valve, utilizing spring aided levers. The frequency of operation depends on the quality of the feed water. Angle (Type 71), Y-Globe Type (50ST) and Straight Type Blow-down Valves (55BS) are available.

Angle control valve (for three phase let down) - The flow to open design ensures that flashing occurs across the seat outside of the valve body. This reduces wear and tear significantly. Ideal for flashing medium and media with a high solids concentration.

The Model 74CS “ToughFlash” was conceived for installation in pipelines or vessels where the medium is errosive, or the process leads to cavitation through flashing. The valve has a “Tough Flash” trim which can withstand process extremes seen in gasification, liquefaction, hydrocracking or in autoclave applications. It´s ideal to accommodate flashing in the valve.
