Boiler Feed Systems
Model RS-Series - Boiler Feed Systems
The RS Series of return systems manufactured by Sellers provides a simple assembly which will efficiently pump feedwater into a boiler. These units include a receiver to hold return condensate as well as a float valve to add makeup water. All components are factory assembled on a structural steel stand. Many options and customer configurations are available upon request. More sophisticated return systems including heated return systems (see our Thermafeed Series line of feed systems) and deaerators are available from Seller to handle more critical needs.
Therma-Feed Boiler Feed System
The Thermafeed Series of return systems manufactured by Sellers is an economical prefabricated boiler feed system utilizing the direct injection of live steam into stored water to heat the boiler feed water to 205-208 degrees Fahrenheit. Heating water up to these levels effectively removes up to 90% of excess dissolved oxygen contained in raw water makeup without creating an excessive vent loss. The live steam is admitted to the water through a corrosion resistant perforated diffuser tube. It is controlled by a highly sensitive, pneumatic, combination temperature-pressure regulating valve suitable for use with supply pressures between 6-250 psig.
Deaerators
Model 005 CC - 3400 series - Pressurized Deaerator
Sellers Manufacturing 3400 series offers industry leading reliability and durability with its Pressurized Series of deaerators. Designed to increase the longevity of boiler piping systems by reducing O2 and CO2 content in boiler water, Seller’s pressurized deaerators can reduce the level of these dissolved gases below 0.005 cc’s per liter. When compared to our Atmospheric Series of deaerators, the Pressurized Series is ideal for applications where blend temperatures exceed 180° F.
Model 03 CC - Atmospheric Deaerator
Sellers Engineering offers industry leading reliability and durability with its Atmospheric Series of deaerators. Designed to increase the longevity of boiler piping systems by reducing O2 and CO2 content in boiler water, Seller’s pressurized deaerators can reduce the level of these dissolved gases below 0.003 cc’s per liter. When compared to Seller’s Pressurized Series of deaerators, the Atmospheric Series is ideal for applications where there the end user anticipates a high percentage of make-up water or gravity returns.
