Analytical and Preparative Size Exclusion

Sepax Unix - Model SEC -300 - Columns

Utilizing proprietary surface technologies, Unix SEC-300 phase is made of uniform, hydrophilic, and neutral nanometer thick films chemically bonded to high purity and mechanically stabilized silica with the particle size of 1.8 µm. The combination of small particle size and large pore volume of Unix SEC-300 renders the highest separation efficiency and resolution of analytes. The well-controlled surface chemistry results in excellent lot-to-lot reproducibility. Our unique bonding chemistry, coupled with the maximized bonding density, allows Unix SEC-300 to provide high stability and negligible non-specific interactions. Typical applications for Unix SEC-300 columns include separation and analysis of biological molecules and water-soluble polymers.

Sepax ProAqa - Model Excel - HPLC Columns

ProAqa Excel Protein A Affinity HPLC column is specifically designed for fast, accurate and robust titer determination and quantification of monoclonal antibody during cell line selection or upstream bioprocess optimization and quality control. The base resin is composed of monosized 20 µm 1000-2000 Å highly crossed linked PS/DVB beads coupled with a recombinant Protein A ligand which binds Fc-containing immunoglobin protein except IgG3. The resin is mechanically robust and can tolerate high-flow and high-pressure operation.

Ion Exchange

Sepax Proteomix - Columns

Proteomix ion-exchange phases have been innovatively developed for achieving high ion-exchange capacity, a breakthrough technology for non-porous resins. Proteomix packing support is composed of a rigid, spherical, highly cross-linked poly(styrene divinylbenzene) (PS/DVB) non-porous bead with particle size selections of 1.7, 3, 5 and 10 µm. The PS/DVB resin surface is grafted with a highly hydrophilic, neutral polymer thin layer with the thickness in the range of nanometer. The hydrophobic PS/DVB resin surface is totally covered by a hydrophilic coating that eliminates non-specific bindings with biological analytes, leading to high efficiency and high recovery separations for biological molecules. On the top of the hydrophilic layer, ion-exchange functional groups are attached via a proprietary chemistry, resulting in a high capacity ion-exchange layer.

Hydrophobic Interaction

Sepax Proteomix - Model HIC - Columns

ProteomixHIC columns are specially designed for high resolution and high efficiency separations of proteins, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), oligonucleotides and peptides via a hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) mechanism. Utilizing proprietary surface technologies, Proteomix® HIC-NP resin is made of non-porous polystyrenedivinylbenzene (PS/DVB) beads with narrow-dispersed particle size distribution. As shown in figure below, the PS/DVB bead is modified with alkyl groups or aryl groups that provide hydrophobic interaction with analytes.

Reversed Phase

Proteomix - Reversed Phase Columns

Proteomix RP packings are porous polystyrene divinylbenzene (PS/DVB) polymer resins with narrow-dispersed particle size distribution. The base matrix of the resin is made of highly cross-linked PS/DVB which functions as reversed phase for chromatographic separation. The phase structure is phenyl and substituted phenyl functional groups that enable hydrophobic interaction. These highly rigid resins are provided with the particle size selection of 5, and 10 µm. In comparison to silica based reversed phase media, Proteomix® RP phases have advantages for biomolecule separations with wide pH range (1-14) and high thermal stability. At various column temperatures, the Proteomix® RP phases offer special selectivity, high resolution separation with online mass spec analysis capability for proteins such as mAb (monoclonal antibody), ADC (antibody drug conjugate) and related protein fragments.

Sepax - Model Bio-C18 - Reversed Phase Columns

Wide range of pore sizes and high compatibility with 100% aqueous phases make Bio-C18 columns ideal for high resolution mapping of peptides and separation of natural and synthetic peptides and small proteins. The specially designed surface bonding chemistry and the pore sizes allow for extended retention and selectivity for polar and hydrophilic compounds, such as peptides and amino acids. C18 monolayer formed by special bonding chemistry does not collapse in pure aqueous solution.

Sepax - Model Bio-C8 - Reversed Phase Columns

Bio-C8 phase is made of monomeric and fully endcapped chemistry. The uniform stationary phase allows the separation to achieve high selectivity and high efficiency. Bio-C8 packings of 300 Å pore size selection are ideal for high resolution mapping of peptides and separation of natural and synthetic peptides and small proteins.
