FDU 100 Appliance Device

The FDU 100 foam dispersal unit allows municipal maintenance crews to use their existing pipe maintenance equipment to treat pipes using the same amount of RootX. The FDU 100 releases a foam spray to coat the roots and pipe walls.

RootX Tripod

The RootX tripod aids in applications using the FDU 100. It holds the FDU 100 in place while it is filled with RootX. This allows for one person instead of two to load the FDU 100, so fewer people are needed to treat the same amount of pipe.

Electric Eel Model C

Easy, one man operation. Direct drive self feeding cable. Direct cable drive off the front of the machine allows 500rpm rotation and distances ofer 60m. Enclosed 3/4HP capacitor motor with custom built gear mechanism gives you longer life and plenty of power. Weighs only 34kg for easy handling and transporting. Folding handle makes for compact storage and allows use in crawl spaces. Adjustable clutch protects machine and cable from overload in tough stoppages and gives operator more power at the turn of a screw.

Model J Kit

The Optional Model J kit comes with all the exclusive features as the larger dual cable and permits the Model C, with easily reduced clutch settings, to clean smaller 50 - 100mm lines up to 30m in length. Cables come in 1.8m sections with various cleaning tools available.

Electric Eel Cables

Electric Eel 32mm Dual Cable for Model C & Model 325 Machines. The patented, self feeding dual cable requires no manual handling and cuts thrioough staoppages more effectively. A right hand wound outer coil and a left hand wound inner are both anchored to reduce helixing and loss of cable in the pipeline. Snap lock couplings supply an instant, secure hold. Cables are available in 1.2m, 2.4m and 3m lengths.

IMS-MICRO-Cutter – with axial movement

Capable of climbing and creeping, axial feed per feed ca. 100 mm, suitable for pipes of DN 80 - 150 (optional supplementary parts for diameters up to DN 250), suitable for use in bends of up to 67° in pipes of DN 100 upwards (without folds and similar  obstructions), suitable for use in inspection shafts and cleaning openings, 30 m media connection cables, connecting parts for insertion using pipe eel / fiberglas (pipe eel / fiber glas is not in standard scope of delivery) or for pulling in by rope, minimum outer diameter 70 mm, swivel movement of head approx. 110 mm (135°) with limit stop, turning movement of head ± 200° with limit stop, powerful pneumatic motor with approx. 0.6 kW at approx. 10,000 min-1 idling speed, integrated color camera, camera lens made of scratch and shock-proof sapphire, camera lens cleaning using air jets, two adjustable halogen headlamps 2 x 10 Watt, compressed nitrogen throughout the device to permit manual monitoring of tightness, transporting rack with wheels for hose and cutter, electrical slip ring lead-through, pneumatic rotational seal, control unit integrated in the rackwith TFT-Monitor and sun protection, Continuously adjustable light control, Dynamic joystick control of turning and swivelling, Control-LED for diagnostic error, Analogue video output, combinable with universal control panal, air drying unit with dirt filter and integrated water separator for dressing of compressed air for cleaning camera lens during cutting, compressed air requirement 1 m³/min max. 10 bar lead-in pressure; without oil (<0,1mg/m³), filtered (particle < 1 Micron) and with max. temp of 40°C, voltage 220V, 6A, 50 Hz (110 V, 60 Hz) , voltage precision +/- 1% between idling and full power, dimensions L x W x H = 660 x 550 x 800 mm, weight with rack approx. 45 kg.

RootX 908g Tubs

RootX is a simple, cost-effective and proven way to kill pipeline roots in sewer lines, storm pipes and septic systems. RootX uses the aquatic herbicide Dichlobenil. It’s non-caustic, non-fumigating and non-systemic, and it contains no diquat dibromide, copper sulfate or metam sodium. RootX is classified as a General Use product by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Air-Loc Vacuum Generator 450

The Air-Loc Vacuum Generator allows vacuum testing of a manhole without the use of a separate vacuum pump. This device turns your standard air compressor into a vacuum source for testing manholes. Simply attach the unit to a head assembly and an air compressor to draw a vacuum in minutes. The vacuum generator 450 produces 14 CFM at 10` HG and the NEW Vacuum Generator 600 produces 42 CFM at 10` HG. Air-Loc Manhole Testers conform to ASTM Specification C1244 Standard Test for Concrete Sewer Manholes by the Negative Air Pressure (Vacuum) Test and ASTM C1227 Standard Test for Pre-cast Concrete Septic Tanks.

Air-Loc Line Acceptance Kit

Used to perform a low-pressure air test from manhole to manhole. This is done by installing two Cherne Air-Loc plugs and using Cherne`s Air-Loc Panel to inflate the plugs and pressurize the pipeline. The test pressure is monitored for a predetermined amount of time for any decrease in pressure. If pressure drops less than 1PSI, the test passes. If a leak is detected, additional equipment is required to isolate the leak.
