Sierra offers several certified Boiler MACT compliant thermal, vortex, and ultrasonic flowmeters that allow you to easily “tune” your boiler and provide required compliance data to the EPA.

We understand accurate gas flow measurement is essential when measuring natural gas usage. Sierra Instruments designs and manufactures gas flow meters and mass controllers for the performance demands of natural gas distribution. Our mass vortex flow meters are ideal for measuring high-pressure gases in transmission lines, while our thermal mass flow meters are used for sub-allocation of process gases.

We are GHG Certified: US EPA CFR 40 Part 98 put industry on notice that secondary emissions from small boilers must be accounted for accurately. Sierra responded with GHG certified mass flow meters to support our customers with this requirement. Immersible thermal mass flow meters are an economical and acceptable way to measure GHG for EPA compliance. Our BoilerTrak 620S was designed specifically for this application.

To improve quality in your manufacturing process, precision burner control is imperative. Our specially engineered ultra-low pressure drop mass flow controllers drastically minimize pressure drop, so the pressure at the burner tip better simulates the pressure from the gas. Our capillary tube thermal mass flow controllers and meters are split into two categories: Premium Digital and Economical OEM.  This class of precision instrument measures and controls gas mass flow rates of any clean dry gas including mixtures, toxics and corrosives to very low flow flow ranges (i.e. 0 to 4 sccm) as well as higher full scale flow ranges up to 1000 slpm. Our Immersible Thermal MFM`s can measure much higher flow rates with precision.
