We will continuously optimize the conversion of chemicals, customized technical fabrics, foil sheets, and technical apparel.

We will focus on global B-to-B customers and professional users in order to assure continuity, risk spreading and profitable growth for all our stakeholders. We will do the above in a dynamic environment, through flexible and quick response to the market, focused R&D efforts and a global sales and production presence.
In addition, we will develop environment-friendly coating and converting technologies to set a winning standard for primarily green safety and protective products to create sustainable, profitable growth.

THE FIRST ELEMENT OF OUR STRATEGY IS R&D

Sioen is continually investing in research and development. We ensure that innovative ideas can grow and quickly find their way within the group. We are constantly looking for new markets that match our technical know-how. That is, segments in which technical textiles can offer a quality alternative to existing materials.

THE SECOND ELEMENT OF OUR STRATEGIC PLAN IS: TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Wherever technical expertise is decisive, there Sioen is strong. We continuously invest in it. Know-how is one of Sioen’s great strengths. With over 55 years in the business, we have more accumulated know-how of textile coating technology and coated textile applications than any other company in the world. No other single company masters five different textile coating techniques. No other company has as much experience and knowledge of standards and rules. No other company has experience of as many markets. This know-how is gained through systematically searching for solutions to practical problems, much of the time in close cooperation with our customers. It is expanded by using existing know-how as a basis for entering new markets. It is protected by strong employee loyalty and motivation.

OUR THIRD ELEMENT OF STRATEGY, VERTICAL INTEGRATION, MAKES US STRONGER

We manage the complete industrial chain, from yarn to finished product. This vertical integration gives us an edge over our competitors, enabling us to respond quickly to customer needs and making us less dependent on external suppliers.
