We are a textile solution provider, offering tailor-made solutions to our customers. As a producer of yarns, woven and non woven fabrics, technical textiles, fine chemicals and protective clothing, we offer our customers extra`s such as welding and cutting, composites- we put several technical textiles together to form one complex- but also financing, services and targetted training.

Our customer always takes central stage. Sioen sells technical products, primarily to businesses and to governmental and quasi-governmental institutions — police, fire services, emergency services —, although certain products, such as garments and colouring solutions, end up in retail stores under other brand names. Our showrooms are the size of two football fields and showcase all our know-how.

We manage the complete industrial chain, from yarn to finished product. This gives us an edge over our competitors, enabling us to respond quickly to customer needs.

Process engineers are continuously monitoring the production process. The in-house engineering, design, test and development capabilities at Sioen are enhanced by strategic collaboration with forward-thinking organisations, universities, institutes and governmental organisations that allow us to access the very latest research resources and expertise.

Innovation involves much more than updating or inventing new products. Sioen has a concerted focus on knowledge, innovation and creativity: on new materials, new production processes, new services, new niches, new markets, new business models and any other new requirements.

We are continuously in search of new products that meet the requirements of both existing and potential customers. In addition, we focus on developing our technologies. Innovative ingredients or a combination of intelligent materials provide new products, greater efficiency and better results. We collect information, analyse our target markets and competitors and undertake operational research in order to optimally allocate resources.
