The highly versatile SKC AirChek 20 air sampling pump provides high-performance sampling for asbestos and other particulates. BioLite+ High-volume Pump, AC operation only, CE marked, provides non-compensated airflow up to 62 L/min.

Any building constructed before 2000 could contain asbestos. When asbestos is disturbed the fibres can be inhaled into the lungs and can cause asbestosis, lung cancer and a particularly aggressive cancer called Mesothelioma. These diseases cause up to 4,000 deaths a year in the UK alone. Static sampling is necessary when going though the asbestos removing process and when accessing a site for reoccupation.
