Smit Ovens was founded in 1936 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Today, our headquarters are in EINDHOVEN SON and we employ some 30 people. But our philosophy remains the same - to deliver optimal thermal solutions tailored to the needs of our customers and their markets.
In the last 75 years, we have built up huge experience in a wide range of processes. We bring all this experience to bear when developing our solutions. Over 3000 systems have been delivered to the display, glass and electronics industries. We are also increasingly active in the solar power / photovoltaics industry with more than 40 installations, of which many at global leaders in the thin film sector.
We offer complete, tailor-made solutions: defining, modelling and testing processes with our own analysis tools. To support our continuous innovation, we also work with leading research institutes and universities to develop new hardware and processes.
